Yay, Mosman Council, for ignoring the vocal minority and approving Pay & Display parking. It is a prudent decision and will help to ensure equitable access to the beach and other amenities in the locality. And with three hours' free parking in metered spaces and free, unlimited parking at the foreshore reserve carpark for Council ratepayers and residents, some people have raised a stink over nothing. After viewing last week's 'Stateline' report on the issue and seeing photos in the 'Mosman Daily', the only people against Pay & Display are aged 50+ or under 5 years!
